ChatGPT Hallucinated a Proton Drive CLI Tool
ChatGPT, the AI going to steal all our jobs, yet again proving it's a bawhair away from getting thrown in the bin.
I had a problem I figured was perfect for LLMs. A pretty common syncing and backup tool (RSync), a public cloud solution for your media (Nextcloud), and wanting to create a very simple sync that took my next cloud data and pushed it up to my Proton Drive that I've got sitting empty. I figured this should have been a walk in the park and something many people have attempted before, something AI should have known from its scraping and gathering online.

Simply put, it completely fabricated a Linux CLI tool that Proton offers. Which flies in the face entirely as to how the Linux community has been treated by Proton. Ironically the company which pushes privacy first only supporting MacOS and Windows on a majority of its tools is pretty comedic.
It gave me a CURL command to run, which downloaded a 404 page, because it didn't exist.
There isn't really much more to this. Just showing off the absolute absurdity that our economy is being ridden on the wave of this laughable excuse for a tool. I'm meant to fear being replaced by a tool that can't even google "Proton Drive Linux" and look at the first 3 results to see how wrong its answer was going to be.
